(I ran the spreadsheet three times before I finally got a 'yes' on the paladin row: 13, 13, 13, 9, 10, 17 were his scores. No paladins, monks, illusionists, or bards. I find the 3d6 method to be the most effective for making subclasses truly rare I downloaded a spreadsheet that does the Method IV (12 characters using 3d6 in order, pick one PHB races and classes only), and out of 84 characters there were five that qualified as druids, five assassins, and one ranger.
